Memorial Day – Thank You

Well, it’s obvious now that I live in the U.S., so if this is a normal Monday for you… this post won’t be as meaningful.
To start, my grandfather and his father served in the U.S. military, as well as probably other relatives that I don’t know of yet. It’s extremely important that we honor these people who risked their lives for us to live in peace. Even though fighting isn’t the only answer, when the chance to help their country came about, they didn’t bat an eyelash. For some, this was the country that discriminated against them and told them to leave, but they fought anyway. The most honorable are the people that we do not know, the ones that fought and never came back. Take a moment and think of the people that fought on your behalf and the ones that gave the ultimate sacrifice.
